What do the prices look like?

I generally work with agreed upfront fixed prices, so you know what the website will cost before the project begins. The final price depends on the size, features and complexity of the website.

As a general guide, simpler websites can sit around $600 to $2,000. More involved websites and online stores usually start from $2,000 plus.

Are there any ongoing costs?

Yes. Most websites have ongoing costs such as website hosting, domain name renewals and website maintenance. There may also be extra costs if you need SEO, Google Ads, digital marketing or extra design work after launch.

Do I need my own website hosting?

Yes, every website needs hosting. If you already have hosting, I can usually work with your current setup. If you need hosting, I can provide a simple yearly hosting option that keeps everything in one place and makes support easier.

How long does a website take?

Most websites take around 1 to 5 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project. The timeline also depends on how quickly content, images, feedback and approvals are provided.

The more organised the content is at the start, the smoother and faster the build usually is.

Who writes the content for the site?

You know your business best, so any information you can provide is always helpful. I can then tidy it up, improve the wording and shape it into website-friendly content.

If you need more help, I can also write or rewrite content for you as part of the project or as an additional service.

Do I have to organise all the graphics?

If you already have a logo, photos or brand graphics, you can send them through. If you need help, I can create simple graphics, website visuals, banners, icons or design assets to make the website feel more polished and consistent.

Will my website work on mobile?

Yes. Every website I build is designed to be responsive, which means it adjusts to desktop, tablet and mobile screens. Mobile presentation is a major part of the build, not an afterthought.

Can I maintain my website myself?

Yes. I build with WordPress, which allows you to edit and update content yourself if you want to. Simple changes like text and image updates can be manageable once you know where everything is.

More advanced changes, new page layouts, design sections, troubleshooting and technical updates can be harder, so I can also help with ongoing support when needed.

Can you help after the website is live?

Yes. I can help with hosting, maintenance, updates, backups, small content changes, plugin checks, troubleshooting and future improvements so your website does not get left behind after launch.
